Have you air tested the system to check for leaks or monitored the icp and ipr during cranking? Could be the orings in the oil rails or upper fuel injector o-rings.

John I replaced everything except injector seals before I did an air test. If yr having a hot no start I'd highly suggest doing an air test before throwing parts at it. It will save you time, money and lots of frustration! If I can help let me know..

Thanks. I'm taking it in to a diesel shop on Monday to get it up and running. It's waaay beyond my ability to repair.

Reading this thread has helped me to at least understand the issue, so I can fake an educated discussion with the mechanic!

Sorry for the late reply. You called it, an injector seal. $10 plus 7 hours of labour.

Have you replaced the MAP vacuum hose running off the passenger side valve cover? (Never mind, thinking of low boost, not a no start condition)

Kinda interested in what you saw with diagnostics to change out all of these other parts first?

Sounds like you work on this guy yourself, especially if you could change out all 8 o-rings on both sides in 4 hrs.

It took me 4-5 hrs to replace a couple of injectors on just the drivers side alone.

With the proper tools and working o. These trucks quite often it doesn't take that long to pull 2 valve covers and rail and have injectors loose. I was throwing parts at it instead of properly diagnosing it first. Because of my experience in doing that I always stress to everyone now to diagnose it correctly first that way yr not throwing parts and money at it.. that is just my personal experience.
