302 Flywheel

I am getting ready to put a 1988 302 in my'53 F100.there was no flywheel with the engine.Which flywheel do I need for this engine? It will be mated to a c4Thanks for any help given.

302 Flywheel

Check the catalogs. PAW has cheap flexplates for the 302. I believe the 302 for that year is externally balanced to 50 oz. (Flywheels are for manual trannies, flexplates for auto)

Give PAW a call at 818/678-3000 and they will tell you which flexplate you need. They take 7 days to get you the part though.

I have very good luck with PAW parts and from California to New Hampshire, I have gotten parts as fast as 3 days without paying extra. Give them a try.

If it's stuck, force it. If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway!!
