Damp Spark Plug

I have noticed that the spark plug on no.8 cylinder is always a little damp with fuel when I pull it. Others are clean and dry. I checked the spark and it's ok. How can I check if this is a leaking fuel injector without removing the intake, fuel rail etc.. Could it be something else that I am overlooking? Does this rob performance? Truck has 82K miles. Should I just leave it alone?
Thanks
Guy

My 88 351W has started doing that recently. Have you put on new rotor, cap and wires? If not try that, check the wire to number 8 and make sure its good. I have not noticed any performace difference on mine yet.
Good Luck

I replaced wires about 2 years ago. Plugs are new. The Cap is probably still original. I think I'll try some quality wires and cap. While were on the subject, should the coil be replaced? Will this improve performance? I'll post back when i've replaced the cap and wires(next week, no time right now due to work).
