F150 didn't come out 'til 75, F100 was out way before then. F150 was a tougher truck since it had a bigger gross weight-6,050 lbs. It came with heavier springs and axles. both F100 and F150 are both half tons though. to find out if is a 100 or 150 I would just look at the VIN and decode it.
The only difference between F100 and F150 is F100 is a light duty pickup F150 is more "heavy duty" more leaf springs tougher suspension more gvwr unless someone swapped the badges its an F150 but easiest way is to decode the vin
there arent any differences other than what is stated above about the gross weight and the fact it is a bit more heavy duty. Engines/trannys were all the same and I think trim packages were as well the same
F15- is f-150
but provide the whole vin, on both tags? if you have both that might be hard? or is the F15 on the inside jam right now? if you have another tag you will have to the vin on the firewall.
Thanks for the feedback.
One more question for you guys. Can anyone recommend a decent supplier of parts for my truck. It needs a few bits such as a new grille, front turn signal unit, side mirrors etc.
