CA Guys listen up PART 2 PICTURES

Well here it is a Project ! but im pleasently surprized at the condition of this truck, rust wise its minimal, good floors etc, one bad front corner in the cab, but thats about it. Lots of work to do thou, the Volare front end graft looks good, the chassis is strong, the rear end tires are way to big! i wanna go around corners not thru them ! but on the whole its a great starting point and exactly what i was after minus all the hassle of my mate Harley Green of course!

After being in Quarantine for 2 weeks while they disinfected it from all the rat ****, its now clean as a whistle, so here is the pics, thanks for all your support guys, and if anyone knows what year this volare front end is let me know, same goes for the PS box.

Boy...it looks like someone had two gallons of blue paint...and used it all up at once.

Great project...Good Luck.

Are those Hoosier tires in the rear? Tread pattern looks like "dirt stockers" a tire that is not recommended or legal for street use. The tread rubber is very soft. It's a tire we used to use for competing in the rain before Hoosier came out with the radial rain tire. The fact that the inside edge is worn gives me pause as well.
You'll need to change the rear shock mountings, they are nearly useless the way they are mounted.

Way to go Grabber. The truck is very interesting with several unique mods started. I've never seen tires so big that they rub on the frame! Good luck with it and keep sending pics. Several of us live vicariously thru the posts of others. Jag

Grabber,

Congrats on finally getting it home! Thats a pretty cool looking project with some interesting modifications to it. I'm glad to hear that you are still pleased with it now that you've actually seen it in person.

Thanks for the pics
Bobby
