have a question for mods

like stated in topic, or for anyone who can help. is it possible to edit an original post after say several days or after several people replied.
here is the problem, i have a how to setup in gallery the forum, and my photo bucket got hacked and pictures shifted everywhere. now the images in the post are messages of moved or delete images. now i want to correct it, but do not know how to edit it. or would it be easier to redo and repost in thread.
thanks in advanced to anyone who helps me out here.

You cant, but the mods can, might be easier to just repost in the thread with the updated links.

Give me links to the threads and pics in question and I'll take a look. Might indeed be easier just to repost, but it might not be too bad...how many pics are we talking about here?

here is the link . we are looking at 8 pictures total. basically the screen shot of all the steps i mentioned with arrows and graphics showing how to set up a gallery.
i am in the process of redoing the original post. if you can not do it i will repost in same thread.

Looks like you forgot the link...it's not there. But it also matters what forum it's in. I can only change it if it's in this forum or one of the others I moderate, otherwise I need to hand it off to another mod or a supermod or admin. But that shouldn't be a problem...

Okay, now we need links to the pics want to use. Have you set up a new Photobucket account, or perhaps started a new account at another picture hosting site?

thanks for the help dan , a little playing and here is what i came up with

steps to setup gallery

do not know if this was done yet. i did not see one, and i have seen a few post asking this very question.
so here is a 7 step how to with pictures.

first read the stickies in this forum

User Gallery & Picture Display Help

first you will need to click on your User CP

second you need to click on edit gallery

</center>

third you need to click on create album if you do not have one yet
* or click on edit album if you have one setup with out pictures.
* during process you may be ask to allow java scripting
* click yes/ continue ( depends on operation system)

fourth you need to fill in information

</center>

fourth continued
now scroll down the page
here you see 5 boxes labeled choose .
* click on one for each photo you want to upload.
*if more than file repeat for additional photos.
