'97 windshield into '94 ?
As for prices, that is just what I was told, they may have been rattling my cage.
500 dollars each from Dodge, so that would be 3000 for a set.
Knowing him, that was the installed price.
I just looked on fleabay, 2350 was the price I saw for new Bosch complete injector sets for the 03 5.9.
There were plenty of nozzle sets for cheaper, but not complete injectors.
All I know is if the engine will start, it runs just like it always did.
But at least 50% of the times you turn it off, it will not start again.
Why they replaced the in tank pump was whe you turned the key to on, sometimes the in tank pump ran, sometimes it did not run.
So they guessed the lift pump was going out.
Had to order one, no improvement.
He, as most people are, hate to drive somethig that you never know if it will start every time you turn it off.
I however can not see the injectors as being bad, if they were it should not run as well as it ever did, if it will start.
My money is still on an electronic part on it's way out that has something to do with shutting off the fuel.
Next Thanksgiving?
I'll send you some killer Heavy Shot turkey loads, they make them right by me.
Ralph doesn't hurt anything around here. He does get into trouble when he runs through Mommas flowers and Dads garden. Looks like a 500 lb steer ran through them. They are great dogs but they are very big.
I won't eat him. I have some youngsters that will meet mister fryer. Last time I dispatched a turkey that big I used a 22lr. Thanks for the offer. I have a few heavy shot shells for geese. They live around here all year and is pretty good goose hunting around here if you like to do that. I shoot, mostly, at pigeons. The clay ones.
Just like stevilknevil said--that's why I like mechanical motors! Air and fuel---she usually runs. Pretty simple.
