My bet is that it is job 1. Look on the driver's column for mfrd. date. I think Job 1 was up to June 30, 2007. Job 2 up to December 31, 2007. Forward is job 3.

I could be wrong, but my opinion only.

Hope this helps.

My 2008 ends with 63771 and is a job 2, mfrd. October 2007.

Not to be indignent, but you are dead wrong. No Job 2's in 2008. Job 2's ended with 2007 mfr.

At least that is what was posted in this forum several times.

If you have reference, I would like to know. But, if you look at changes, job 3, specs., etc., you will agree, begining with 2008 production.

Job 2 was after 7-30-07 and Job 3 was 1-02-08, for some reason i had the date messed up and thought the the job 3 started 2-02-08. Thanks for the correction.

Ok, so I had a Job 1 and now have a Job 3. I've noticed some suttle differences, what are the actual differences?

There are many and various changes. You should check your specs on job 1 trucks and then check spec availability on job 3 trucks.

Two as a positive reply, I am told job 3 trucks identify a regen on a light in dash. From job 1 to 2 you can get the wide track which is a tremendous change as it narrows the turning radius of a F-350.

Take some time and check the spec sheets listed above. You will see many changes.

Thanks!

I did notice the indicator on the dash as one of the differences. The second truck is sluggish on acceleration from a dead stop and the first one wasn't. I was wondering if that was something they changed as well.

You might try over at the 6.4 forum. I presume you are talking about the diesel engine. As far a I have heard, no changes. All jobs use the twin turbo 6.4 engine.

Sorry. I thought I was in the Super Duty forum. You are correct, and my comments were incorrect. But I think I did give the correct answer to your question. Regarding the engine, the regen display was all I have heard about.
