from what i have read most of us work on our own trucks. so i was just wondering what some of you did for a living.
i'm an automation tech/ supervisor. don't know much about these trucks, but i could sure repair the lines they were run down when they were made.
I'm a flight paramedic. A few years ago I worked for a ground EMS service, was a supervisor, and, because nobody else wanted it, became "Vehicle Ops Manager" (despite the fact that I didn't know beans about Powerstrokes) I wish I'd had this site then! lol
I own my truck, it's all paid for thank god there are no payments. I'm 18 and work in sales. I work for my sisters friend, it's a great job. I take orders over the phone and if I sell certain things I get commission on it. Works for me

I work as a Land Surveyor here in the Commonwealth. Do mostly new homes and new commerical survey related work. Would love to be in the mountains somewhere, but construction pays the bills better. I do get to work with some neat equipment though. Using a Zeiss robotic transit as of now. At least I get to be outside all the time, I don't think I'd do well at a desk job. Blair

so far they all sound better than mine, i just sit and watch a machine make hinges,try to fix it when it breaks, and try to keep everyone busy. 73doc, my hat goes off to you. i onced b.s. my way into a mechanics job, road mech. for a forklift co., gave it up after a year. didn't know half of what i thought i knew about engines and working in the rain and the cold started to get to me. jen, my wife would give her right arm and both legs to be a florist.
