George, whats your problem man? make up your mind on what you want to do and stick with it. you sound worse than some spoiled little kid. how old are you? Even if you told us Im not sure how much I beleave you based on how much you like to brag about yourself. (hey my company makes 4 mil a day.... beleave me? sure sounds good though)

I tell you what, it gets down right vicious in the 6.4 group. I think I'm better off staying in the 6.0 group from now on.

I'm feeling the love brothers...
Sorry if you guys can't read or understand where I come from.
I guess that is to be expected. You don't know me, and I don't know you.
I would bet that we would all understand each other fine in real life.
You can say what you want about me, but I'm not afraid of asking questions and getting answers.

I received a phone call from Matt a couple of weeks ago, and his explaination made me realize something about doing business in the electronics field that I never considered.
For that, I'm thankful.

You have to remember though, rushing to meet people's demands is not a good thing considering this is still unproven(on the commercial scale) technology isn't a good thing. Vista, Livewire, X3 are all prime examples and the latter two were more or less proven platforms compared to Vista.
I can agree with that to a point.
Just what is "rushing"?
I look at it as weekly man hours devoted, or the lack thereof.
Concentrated man hours is not rushing.
Matt's case is almost over, but I did learn a lot from it.

Hey, I'm not saying that I have all of the answers.
I like to communicate instead of sitting on my hands. If that offends some, then that's a cross that I can easily carry.

That right there just proves what I was saying about the whole appeal to authority. Rather or not it aided your argument as to why they should be done already is irrelevant, it's the fact that it was something that you were unaware of because your not in the field and thus not able to make comments about how things get done or not or are not able to envision everything that has to be concidered. Who is to say there aren't other things that you hadn't considered and maybe Matt hasn't as well(and a hint even those in the field that are supposed "experts" run into things that even they hadn't considered before). I can understand it alot more from where you coming from if it was a platfrom that has been around awhile and it's not more or less new technology(because if it wasn't new technology other people would have their stuff out by now), but when it's new and has to be able to handle large scale distribution, it has to go thru the wringer otherwise it will flop(unless it is very very lucky), the previous three examples I gave all caused an uproar because there were so many bugs with them. Now it does make it easier for me to take this position and have more patience considering that Matt let me beta test his stuff(although how he got it into my truck is not how it's going to be done on the large scale), although I still might upgrade to his new tuner(more then likely, who am I trying to kid), however, just because I already have all this stuff and it helps me be a little more patient for his tuner doesn't invalidate my argument(just wanted to bring that out in case someone tries to use it to do so).

True enough. I never said I was an expert, but I do have common sense. I wouldn't have had the answers that I was given, or the understanding of "behind the scenes" unless I asked..
For Matt and everybody else that has traveled that road, I guess the saying "what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger" applies.

I think the delete pipe and the dashdaq with the custom tunes are going to be around $1300. Not positive though.

I believe that is right if I remember what I had heard might say correctly. However, I will add this caveat I have slept since then so I can't be absolutely sure.
