Hey you brought it up, not me. I don't know what your intention was behind it and I'm not going to assume what it was either.

I can answer that, and it makes this situation that more understandable.
Oh this is a very small community, not really all that many players. I think that is a little more well known then you give it credit for.

To a point your correct. I would think that some of even the fans would be a little skittish of SCTs product considering what has happened to their last two. Now that will only last for a period til(if it does happen) positive momemtum gets built up and then it takes off.

Just wait in line like sheep, bury your heads in the sand, and scorn those who won't accept the line along with you.
Unfortunately(I say that because it actually renders your argument moot), unlike most of the other people, I actually don't have to wait. I'm a beta tester for the stuff that Matt is putting on his tuner right now, so I guess that kind of makes me the shepherds assistent. Would that be correct? All the major components of what he is putting into his tuners have already been put into my truck and I just have to get tunes updated or changed(if applicable).

Reading that I find it hard to believe that you own your own business. I have been a horse trainer for a long time(since school was out for summer, and if you get the reference that I just made you can guess how long) and it has taken me a month to train horses for basic "skills" and sometimes it's taking me several months and on one occasion(I still own this mare I'm about to mention) it has taken me 4 yrs to break(her bloodline is known to be tough to break, but once broken best horses out there). I am by no means incompetent, I wouldn't be able to live where I do if I was and be able to survive this economic downturn that this country is in if I didn't offer something to this industry that was successful and different from everyone else. Bottomline, is that stuff happens that is beyond your control, it does. Despite all that you have, your conclusions are still speculation. They may be correct, but they may also be incorrect. The only thing that you have is conjucture, bottomline.

I'm not wanting to get into another hollow internet debate. I think it's safe to say we are both on the same side, wanting the same thing, and also hoping for Matt's release to be unimpeded by Drew..
Bottom line is still the same, Drew has dropped the ball on Matt, and they obviously do not care. I just can't give them an "out" with the "everythings got to be perfect" arguement. Like I said above, they have had plenty of man hours available to work out the bugs.

My business skills?
I don't really care how I am preceived, and trying to impress a complete stranger (or known person) isn't me......
What I do works very well in my world.
I am sure you are a very talented person.

You missed the point in which I was trying to give and that is things don't always go as smoothly, however, that doesn't mean that the person is incompetent and/or they are just stalling you, they might actually be a snag that isn't of their own design. Out of all the stuff that I give you in order to tear apart, you choose something that is off point(actually there is a term for it and there are going to be people that groan when I mention this, it's called the strawman fallacy).

So, what you are saying is that Drew is waiting on another party to complete the job for Matt?

Please point out where I said that? How in the world you got that, I don't know. I'm starting to think that your trying to turn the conversation around to something that is off base, but something that you have a stronger argument for, either that or I don't know what's going on with your train of thought as it isn't making much logical sense(well it's not either way, but I was trying to give you some credit).

There is really no point in debating this. I think we are on somewhat of the same page, but view acceptable time limits differently. I think the available man hour time that Drew has consumed here, with no product shipped is very telling of their priorities.
It is also the internet, so I edited it because feelings and points of view can sometimes come across wrong, and there is no reason to waste time and energy by arguing over something that's out of our control..It gains nothing.
I think we both want to see Matt receive a shipment tomorrow.

I just look at things differently, I know.
I am very demanding..
I am lucky enough to have almost complete control over what I do. I also have many outlets for the goods that I purchase, so my suppliers are competitive.
I never do the 30 day payment terms. When I receive a shipment, my supplier's driver walks out with a check. For that, they supply me with what ever I need, the second I need it without question.
I'm spoiled rotton and expect a lot. I think I have earned it. For that service, I am loyal to those who take care of me.

That is very true and I can understand and agree with that, however, I am getting the impression that you don't necessarily deal with stuff that still undergoes "testing" and is in the developmental stages, that's where you have to adjust your demanding time tables. I operate my supplys(in my case it's feed, shavings, and various other bulk supplies) in the same manor that you do, cash on the barrel head and I have good customer credit. However, I'm not asking them to balance a special feed for me, which would take longer then just getting the feed that they already produce. I believe that is a key difference here, is that this software is still relatively new as indicated by to my knowledge no one has mass produced this platform as of yet, otherwise we would be having a different conversation. Now, does this justify how long it's already been taking them to do, probably not, but it does help explain why it is taking them longer then usual to get this done. As to spoiled, we all are, instant gratification is the hallmark of our society.

^ Speak for yourself, I and many others have waited and not ranted on about Spartan.
I am not Spoiled, and many of my beliefs are contrary to society.

By ranting on, I assume you mean in the negative fashion, which I have not done as well.

Your right, I over generalized. I should have said most(which only needs to be 51%) of our society are spoiled and want instant gratification.

Truthfully, I have no problem waiting for something that I want.
I order all of my vehicles instead of buying off the lot. etc.
I've been waiting for Matt's deal instead of jumping on the SCT, but the lack of an end game from Drew does frustrate me.

If I am spoiled, it's because I can't swallow slow, unmotivated service. I give my best shot everyday, My employees buy into it, and that makes me expect more than the average. I don't want to make you guys vomit, but my business really kicks a$$ because of it.
I would have hoped Drew would have done Matt better than what he's getting.

I'm just hoping that they have this thing together before SCT releases their custom tuning. When a simular product is now available immediatly, some will bolt.

Nothing wrong with having a strong believe in how good your company is(I like to think the business that I run does as well), however, I do find it strange coming from someone that didn't want to toot his own horn for us internet people.

You have to remember though, rushing to meet people's demands is not a good thing considering this is still unproven(on the commercial scale) technology isn't a good thing. Vista, Livewire, X3 are all prime examples and the latter two were more or less proven platforms compared to Vista.
