I have a 03 F250 crew cab with a 2 piece drive shaft. From a complete stop while accelerating it seems my drive shaft is vibrating (only until 5 mph). Is this normal since this is a 2 piece drive shaft?
It only happens at take off from a stop sign/light. The vibration may put rippiles in a cup of water sitting in the drink holder put not bad enough to vibrate coins.

Do you have a lift? It may be the carrier bearing slight off center from drive shaft angle. I have a 6 inch lift and it took me awhile to get it dead center with shims. It's mostly when I power take off when I feel it, otherwise its not there.
could be the splines in the 2 piece part where it connects. take it apart and grease the splines. this worked for me but mine was more of a thud when i stopped and went
Like these guys have mentioned, it could be several things.
Best bet is to start with the easy stuff:
1) inspect the u-joints
2) grease the slip joint
As for the rear differential, does the chatter get worse when you turn sharply at low speeds? If so, then you may need to change the fluid and put in some additive, or the clutch pack could be burned up.
I suffered with this for 100k miles. I replaced u-joints, I replaced the carrier bearing, then I replaced some more u-joints. Then when I could stand it no more I took the damn thing out, took it to a driveline service shop and $120.00 later I had a like new truck.
