I've just started to rebuild a engine i got for free, I also got a pair of 289 heads, now the guy said that they were 289HO heads, but i'm not positive, could anyone tell me if they are? I got all the numbers off of them, here they are

True Hi-Po heads have one very distinctive feature. There is a boss around the spring cast into the head that keeps the spring from walking. Other features, screw in studs, but anyone can add screw-in studs. No-one can add the raised boss around the valve spring seat. You say you were given the motor and heads. I hope you kissed whoever gave you this kind of stuff. Nice gift if real hi-po heads. Some other feature's of the hi-po engines were a different harmonic balancer, dual point distributor ( not sure if on all ), four barrel intake, hi-po manifolds. There is something about the block but I don't remmember just exactly what it was.
