Throttle linkage worn

I have a 1972 F-250 390 2wd auto tranny, almost a million miles on everything .The throttle linkage has a lot of play in it and I would like to replace it with a cable setup.Does anyone know of a kit or product that will work well in these old trucks? Thanks for any ideas.

What part of the linkage, specifically? Lokar has a variety of throttle cables, and can be found at Summit among other places. I was just at Autozone yesterday getting some belts and I noticed that they have some throttle cables as well.

You might be able to retrofit a 78-87 throttle cable as well.
