Overhead DVD problem

I got a 2004 fx4 4x4 with the rails for the overhead dvd, I put in a Myron and davis Adm169 flip down dvd player after installing the first one it would not power up, so I checked all my conections and they were good, so it was the unit I sent it back and they confirmed it was a dud. Now I got back the replacement installed it and it worked good for about a hour, now it says no signal on the screen and the lights on the display are flashing, Besides having my sons favorite movie stuck in it the place I bought it wont respond to me anymore, has anyone else encountered this, if so, is there any easy fix for this..

disconnect the battery for about 15 minutes,then try to eject the disc. Is there a small hole on the disc carrier(paper clip will eject disc) ?

I dont quit understand by the disk carrier, would I have to go from the side where u install the cd
