Tim, did i understand you right, you can have a PCM flashed to match the tranny, so if i find a PCM from a manual it can be made to work in an auto?
also, what do UVC, IPR, ICP stand for?

Yes the PCM's are all the same its just the programming that is different to the bst of my knowledge. The manual PCM doesn't have the info to run an auto tranny but the hardware is the same
UVC- under valve cover harness
IPR- injection pressure regulator
ICP- injection control pressure sensor

thanks for the info Tim, this is all new to me.
UVC,IPR,ICP, are these items prone to failure, or do you just like to be prepared for the worst?

Prep for the worst! Lots of tool in my truck too. I don't like to be on the side of the road wondering what to do. Fixing on the side of the road is ok.
