Ahhhh...Crusing in Kearney. I haven't been to Kearney since college graduation back in 2000. I wouldn't mind living in Kearney if I ever move back to Nebraska.
I left the store about 5:45 tonight and it was snowing. Stopped to have a few beers and it was snowing very hard for about an hour. When I went home at 7:30 it was done snowing but my outside temp gauge said it was about 30 degrees. I spoke with a traveler that stoped in for some wiper blades that had come from Colorado and they said it was a mess. Lots of wrecks and bad driving conditions.
Yes Pat - I am damn sick and tired of this crap! To answere your earlier question - My wife is not a Doctor - She is a Nurse Practitioner for the Open Heart Dr's here in Kearney. I have been trying to purchase a 71 Bronco for her over the past few days. She wants it for a "Dog" vehicle as she won't let our "Children" ride in her Caddy. Of course it would take a little time and $$$ for me to get it in the condition that we would be happy with. And of course I need to finish my 56 before I could start on it. Seems like I can never get ahead of my projects. I think I have a prolem! Can anyone help me? Is there such a group as Ford Aholics?????
Your here George, we should just rename this FTA- Ford Truck Alholics! Hey, those old broncos are cool. My uncle in Colorado used to have one, it lasted forever, and would climb tree's if needed! My wife was mentioning today that I should maybe think about getting a more economical vehicle, since I drive about 58 miles round trip to work. My '97 doesn't do all that well on gas, but do I want car payments on another vehicle?
Oh, if you get really backed up, I'll take that 56 off your hands for ya'!!LOL!
LOL - Don't think I will get that desperate. I had a guy stop by the other day when I had it on the trailer behind my 69 and asked me where I had found that 56. He had known of the truck for some time and wanted to purchase it but had lost track of it. I told him I had it stored for the past few years and was starting to work on it again. Everyone wants to buy the truck - They would SH-- if they knew what I paid for it. Lets just say I bought it right!
