On my 78 F250, all but one of the bulbs are working, the front drivers side. The rear lights up, but no front. the passenger's side works just fine as do my hazards, except the driver's front. I have checked the ground and it is good as is the bulb, and the socket isn't corroded. Also I do not have front parking lights. The side ones and tail lights work, but not the front parking lights. Any help would be much appreciated!
65f100_352 When I built my 76 I had one light ( drivers front signal ) that did not work. Found a bad connection at the bulk head connector under the dash. Sniped the wires on both sides of that connector and ran a new wire with connector along side the main connector and all was good from then on. djangoism and Metallheadd You guys just need to replace that white or black nylon ( plastic ) signal switch under your steering wheels. Cheap and easy to do. I let my 12 year old grandson change mine, He got it right with no help from me.
My last F250 didn't auto cancel the turn signal after a turn, and I loved it! The Ranger always cancels out before I even make my turn, and it drives me nuts. Then again, I like having everything manual, and doin' it myself. Gonna turn mine manual when I change my steerin wheel. Could probably send the piece to one of ya.
But as far as the turn signal, hopefully Hillcrest answered your problem. Mine are confusing me though. They weren't working. Replaced the flasher, they worked. Then only the left turn signal would work. Got them properly grounded. Then only the right turn signal would work. Last night tested it, and now only the left turn signal is working. What gives? lol
