Cant be in the wiring or i would have running light..RIGHT?
Check voltage at connections. There is a cross over connector from the drivers side to the passenger side at the rear of the truck. At the beginning of the tail light harness, ( which is located under the hood ), there should be a 3 conductor plug. A green wire, a yellow, and a brown. Check voltage coming from the cab into this harness. You may have a bad connector or broken wire to the right rear.
The running light is the brown wire, drivers side brake and directional is yellow, passenger side brake and directional is green.
vol, Many times trailer lighting is added, and problems can come in that area. There are 3 wires to the rear of the truck, the brake & turn signal share left & right. There is a factory plug off the end of the drivers side frame rail. Find & unplug it, use a circuit tester to see if blinking can be found for left & right there. If yes, re connect look further for trailer light plug. 98% of the time that is where issues are.
If you don't find a pulse at the end of the frame rail follow the wire to the front of the truck.
