If it's the running light(comes on with the headlights), it's going to have to be the socket or the wiring connections in that area. All the running lights are fed by a common brown wire, so if one side works and one side doesn't, that means a good portion of the brown wire circuit under the hood is good, and only one section has a problem.
Thanks for all the advice. I have 12+ volts on the signal light prongs of the connector, and 0 volts on the parking light side. I guess the next step is to test the brown wire before it enters the connector. Thanks again, John.
I found the problem. When they installed my snow plow they spliced another brown wire to the parking light wire to feed the plow lights. They used a crimp connector with shrink wrap over it. It corroded and separated inside the wrap. Thanks again for all your help. John
