97 7.3 stroker trany problem.
I have a 97 f350 7.3 Last night I was on my way home from fishing. All I heard was a loud crack and thats all the trany wrote. I had her towed home. It wont shift gears at all. The two drive shafts broke at the joints. First thing first does this sound like a major trany deal ? What does a trany or the problem cost to fix? Is it worth the investment? Someone offerd me money a couple weeks ago for the engine. What would you do? What is the model of this trany?
