1995 F250 Speed Sensor
I have a 1995 F250 7.3 L 2WD diesel. My speedodometer is constantly jumping forward while driving. This problem also effects the cruise control. It tries to match what the speedometer is doing. It has a standard transmission. I have replaced the speed sensor located on top of the rear end differential but still have same problem. Please Help.

Your next option is to pull the diff cover and look at the reluctor ring behind the ring gear. I had a flip truck that did that. The reluctor ring was trashed because the previous owner grenaded a differetial. Above that, I would look at the wiring more closely.
