I just got the valve cover gaskets replaced, I kept having the SES light come on for injector codes. No more light, well so far.

the 1316 doesnt mean you have a bad IDM. It means that the IDM has stored injector fault codes. you may be chasing a bad #8 injector.

during the buzz test i didnt hear anything....is there any info on changing the injector.....or better yet is there somewhere i could buy a manual for this truck

not a one.....where am i hearing it from the lap top or the injectors themselfs

The injectors themselves. you will perform a buzz test with the engine off, key on. leave your hood open, and you will hear the injectors literally buzz in order. they should all have the same sound. make sure you count while its happening so youll know which # if you hear an off sound.

wow cool...i was doing it with the engine running.....no wonder i didnt hear anything...i will let you know.........man the price of injectors is nuts.....if i had to buy one where should i go ?
