My A/C was just filled up and after 2 weeks it was all gone. Then i started hearing a hissing sound from the rear.I pulled off the panel which covers the blower motor in the back and found the leak in what i think is the evaporator core.
Is this something i can pull off and replace or can i try to plug the hole.
Does anybody have a picture of the rear ac or a diagram i could look at to identify the part
I dont have a diagram for you, but yes it is the evaporator core. and no you cant fix it if its a hole in part of the evaporator core. if its a fitting that is leaking you may be able to pull it a part replace the o ring and putt it back together to see if it holds.
