MBRP Installation

I purchased the MBRP turbo back system and have a question for anyone else that has this setup. The mid pipe which attaches directly to the down pipe has a welded on hangar rod that in my case does not have much of a hook type bend in it. There is a factory hangar mount where this rod is welded on but the rod does not really hook into it it just kind of slides in and does not appear to provide much support. Can anyone provide me with a picture of how the rod/hangar appears on there truck? Other than this I love the system and it sounds great but I don't think I have something right on the mid pipe.
Thanks for any help!!

I got the same thing on my exhaust, hanger rod that goes straight. That one seems to be in the middle where the back door under the truck with a crew cab. Take a look at my gallery. The second album got the exhaust pictures in them. Take a look, if not i'll take a picture for you in a little bit.

You have to use the same rubber grommets from the original exhaust. Put some lube on the rubber to slide the bracket off.

I realize that I need to use the grommets but the rod attached to the mid pipe appears like it should have some type of bend in it in order for it to fit nto the grommet.

I looked at mine and it is the same way. I think with all the clamps tight it cant go anywhere. It looks like it mostly just hold the pipe up.

I had the same head-scratching thought until I got the complete system installed. Just like Miller said.
