I know what you're thinking.....yes, I yelled this phrase at a few girls in my day But in this case.....I am actually talking about headlights lol. I wanna see pics of your guys headlights that you have upgraded to! I have the projection style (they SUCK) They look nice and pretty during the daytime, but I am sick an tired of not having sufficient light at night! I have read about the wiring mod from Dfuser, and will probably add that to whatever lights I decide on....but I wanna see whatcha got! Thanks guys
A LOT brighter especially with the silverstar bulbs. those bulbs combined with the harness you need make all the difference in the world.
I just got those parts, the Silverstars and the DFuser harness. Will be installing the Harley lights this weekend after the Gun Show! I'll let you know how much better they are then Travis.
The harness & the Silverstar Ultras will, as said before, make a huge difference. My truck is lifted 4", not sure how much effect this has on those driving toward you. I often get the usual flash from oncoming traffic to kill the high beams, which, of course, I'm NOT using, just FYI.
Resist the urge to flash back, because.....
......quickly flashing the high beams is not recommended, because, if it happens to be Officer Friendly, he/she will stop you, at least in this area. I know from experience, on three occasions, with both Eagle County Sheriff's & Colorado State Patrol. They really look for any reason to justify contacting drivers here...
But regardless of that, you'll love the power of the lights. As good as MOST european HID/Xenon setups with less of the blue hood.
if you stay with the 99-03 style..i like the clear lense..i belive 02-03 has them..i run the silverstar bulbs and there bright..the clear parking lights are after market....
Mine looks like weekendwarrior's since I have the headlights on my Ex. There is one critical difference though. I tried the silverstars and found them to cost too much for too little. I switched to Bi-Xenons.
