hey every one just have one simple question is the distributor in a 302 the same as the one is a 351w?

Recently I found out that the Oil PumP shafts verry in size.

The 351 has a long shaft doesn't it? Also isn't the shaft 5/16 vise 1/4?

Yes it is 5/16 as for length when we compared the two they appeared to be the same length, though it was only a visual inspection not useing a tape measure.

The oil pump drive shaft IS larger, as well as the "seat" of the housing where it goes through the center dome.
