i own a 04 f150 stx 4x4, and i was browsing here earlier, i seen a post about tachs, cant seem to find the one now, but a guy mentioned about holding the tripometer reset before and while starting then a few presses of the button and you have a tach where odometer is, so i tried this and it works, i was wondering if anyone hew what all the other functions/options in there are, i could tell what some where but other i could not, would just like to know if there is anything in there i could change or mess up

Reason: more specific
wow i gotta try that on my XL cause i dont have a tach in my gauge cluster. you got a point though about possibly screwing somthing up, hopefully someone else has had experience with this
it works, but you have to do it every time if you want it to show a tachometer. after you turn the truck off it will reset itself and go back to the odometer/compass.
sorry about that i just came back on and read it, was just going to post again sayin sorry, if that sounded rude, didnt mean to, was in a rush had to pick up the wife, so just wanted to get to the point. And sorry im not a grammar master
the other functions are other EEC parameters to monitor. This feature is more of a diagnostic feature. All of the newer fords have this item. You can monitor various temps, fuel pressure, throttle position, etc....

Is there some sort of chart that would let people know how to get what?
