Hey folks, I think its time for some new shocks, any recomendations? I have currently have four rancho 5000,s in the front and what looks like stock in the rear (this is how I bought it). I pull a gooseneck equipment trailer quite often with anywhere from 5 to 10k pounds on it. I dont have any airbags or anything like that under the suspension.
most of the guys here like billsteins, but i have always loved the edelbrocks! I have had them on multiple vehicles and have always had good luck with them!
I have Rancho Rs9000X adjustable shocks and they are great. Its nice to be able to adjust them for different conditions.I would really like to have the remote controls so I could adjust them on the fly.But I can't seem to get the wife to go for it too.I also have a Rancho steering stabilizer on it.
I have the best ones that les schwab has. I like the way they ride. Now I have seen a lot of trucks have those gas ones not sure what they are called but they look like dual shocks.

Gotta agree on the adjustable thing.
If you are going from no load, to full load/big trailer, you might want to be able to adjust the dampening.
I know with my '01, it makes a world of difference between loaded and unloaded, wife/no wife, etc.
