Just did foil delete.

Finally got around to taking the foil off, and let me tell ya, Ford did not want that stuff to come off. Haven't cleaned it up yet though. I am gonna run and get some adhesive remover tomorrow and some ford blue paint. I was just wondering if anyone might want some pics of the process.

I know i don't,just kidding. lol. I don't ever want to relive that again. I had to put my tube back on because i was running out of time, still didn't get all of it off. Thats a good idea, pictures tell a thousand words. Alot of people including me asked what foil delete was. Great idea, with pictures.

Well I hope ya sprayed some type of solvent on it before bedtime! It'll make it a TON easier to get all the gunk off. I used my drill with a grinder tip on it after I let it soak a couple hours. Good luck!

I used Crown Sol-U-Strip adhesive remover. Made an easy job of it. Here's the thread I started on it with pics:

Ron, those look SICK!!! i think i might have to do that color (sorry for stealing the idea). Where did you get the paint and is it called "candy apple red". Another ?... did you paint the spider pipe (name??) that connects to the two IC pipes?

Will, IIRC the rest is painted BLAZE ORANGE (including the valley), to make it easier to spot oil leaks, of course...

IIRC = "If I Remember Correctly".

Well, not to steal Ron's thunder here, but he upgraded his turbo from the early to the late, so he had the whole top end off.
