I have to sell the 86 to afford the Lightning and so I dont have to pay for 2 insurances. Wish I didnt have to. I love that truck. Yea I got the Lightning yesterday. Its sooo nice.
I left my camera at my uncles during Christmas so these old pics will have to do for now.
Nice lightning. You are on the young side aren't ya, I imagine your insurance would go up substantially for that thing. Probably best you lose the 2nd vehicle to save some cash.

this threads kind of old, but both your trucks looks great! im about to pick up an 85 short bed and throw a 3/4 drop in it. i was wondering if you had to notch the frame when you went that low in the back? any other issues you ran into with the kit? thanks for any help.

You don't have to notch the frame but I would. I only have like 2 inches before the axle tube hits the frame. No issues with the kit, I love it. Wanting to order the 3/4 kit for my Lightning now.
