EXCELLENT!!

I'm surprised you ran it on the track, to be honest. I know you've been having issues, so when I saw those pics I was like .

Edit: Here's a link to my webshots album of the pics I took over the weekend. Click the pic, the thumbnail is the link.

I am SOOOOO glad you didn't get that picture of my truck hung up on the rock after we took the pictures of all of our trucks lined up.

Yeah, it was quite embarrasing. I am glad that most of the people at smokin' had already left the campsite for the Drag strip. Jeremy came running over with his camera but I, with the help of a few others, had already begun to get it off of the rock. The noise it made was horrendous. I caught the running board up and luckily nothing bent. The noise sounded like I had gotten the front section of the bed. It made me sick to my stomach I can tell you that much.

Oh yeah I wasn't going to let that one hang out there. It would have been better if you didn't have the serious trouble that you did. If your truck was still running mine would have been the worse thing of the whole weekend.

They should have dyno'd that little yamaha Diane was driving so that poor Chevy had something else in it's HP class.

Thanks for the link Brandon.

I thought they were going to, but not sure what happened and why it wasn't. My guess is it's too narrow to fit on the rollers.

Kris, you were there, unless you had already left for the dragstrip. It was right after we lined up for the pic of all of our trucks and he somehow managed to high center his truck on a rock by where we were lined up.

Yeah, there was a set of relatively large rocks (maybe 2 1/2 feet tall) between my truck and the ruck to my right. When we were done with the pictures. I pulled straight ahead a little and cut to my right, thinking I had cleared them, but they were at the middle of my running board and it made a horrendous crinkling, grinding metal sound. The rock wedged under the running board just enough to barely lift the front wheel a tiny bit. Some of the guys that were hanging out by the Dyno came running over and I got out to look at what I was sure to be a bunch of dented metal.. I tried to back off the rock, but I was high centered like Jeremy said.

One of the guys with the dieselgarage.com group went and grabbed a smaller wedge shaped rock and put it under my front tire and I used it to ramp the front tire up enough to get off the rock. I haven't gotten under it to look and see if it did any damage to the underside of the running board, but looking at the truck as it sits, there is no apparent damage to the truck, thank goodness. And as you saw, it ran pretty well at the drag strip.
