Thursday, and Friday were relaxing days with only about 100 or so people moving around. Saturday was proably 300-500 folks (not all in the same place, at the same time, mind you). Jody and Diane have a special place in their hearts for Gatlinburg, it is were they spent their honeymoon, and it doesnt hurt that the guy who owns the Diesel Garage website is also the owner of the campground. (or at least his father owns it). the main thing is the man that owns the campground throws out the rules for the weekend, offers up his on site garage for anybodies use, and everyone just polices themselves. There were no harsh words spoken, no fights, and no hurt butt feelings. Truely Southern Hospitality at its best.

See my thanks thread to CRUM71 and rep him as needed.

So.....

What's the story on the "holy-hell-that's-a-bunch-of-shims" cam position sensor?

What would Smokin be like without Franken-Stroke?

This is Hollie (Scott's wife)... I felt the need to insert my two cents worth here... More wives should attend in '09... Even if you have NO clue what the guys are talking about when discussing truck stuff, thats the perfect time to insert beer and sit quietly ... lol I must say I had a blast- I dont think I have laughed so much around a campfire in my life ... You guys are hilarious! And, as for the bathroom facilities- they are very nice and clean, especially for being at a campground...I should know, I made many trips

Hollie good to see you on here you should get your own Screen name now . Glad to see you enjoyed it, next year me and Brandi will stay at the camp ground and bring Savannah.

Kris its okay you beat him by default, so you can still say you beat a high HP D-max ..

That was what a few guys with a red OBS decided to do because the CPS was hitting the cam. They came up with the idea to shim it with cardboard.

Edit: Here's a link to my webshots album of the pics I took over the weekend. Click the pic, the thumbnail is the link.
