Where was the drag strip?
I noticed the sign on the side of the drag strip mentioned something about Newport. Would this happen to be the drag strip off of exit 435 in Newport Tennessee just down from the Wal*Mart and Lowes? This is my overnight stop when I come back from the ARCA races up in Kentucky and Indiana. I was there at the Wal*Mart monday night the 14th...if I was that close it is a good thing I was late, or I could have taken the fiver for a run down the track!! or not..LOL.....just wondering if was close to where I was...Thanks for the pictures....makes me wish I was there insted of the cold rain of Indiana...
