Our provincal taxes make up the difference as they`re higher than in some provinces.

i must be missing something... thats what i noticed on my x-canada trip last year... the closer to ottawa you got, the cheaper the fuel.

Gas was any where between $119.9 to $126.9 in the Ottawa Valley this past weekend. I bet we will see the price back off a bit until the Thursady or Friday before the Long Weekend. Then they will pound us good!

I put some 113.8 in my truck on Saturday, everywhere else seems to be 120 or more. This particular station (Independent/Loblaws chain) is frequently the cheapest in the area since they put it in several years ago.

Strange, I don't notice that at all. Maybe I already live within the cheap radius?

Going across Canada in my trips, southern Ont. has cheap gas, north Ont, Manitoba, Sask have expensive gas, and Alberta has the cheapest gas.

It jumped from $1.203 at lunch today, to $1.259 at 3:30 this afternoon here in Windsor.
No wonder why we go to the states for gas.

definately a good idea. something like that would pay itself off in 2-3 years with the fuel i go through. i hope it becomes a readily available thing!!
