anybody have a powder or baby blue truck and pics they can post, I'm thinking of shooting that color and would like to see on the truck (only truck I've ever seen that color was a '69 chev) thanks
it actually kind of nice nobdy seems to have that color truck, means I'll recognize mine in a parking lot from the air or otherwise, I always get lost looking for my wife's focus especially if it's surrounded by SUV's (stupid urban vehicles) or cross-overs (they couldn't decide what those were)
I don't have any problem finding mine. Even though there are a lot of stock white F-series trucks around, mine has the factory cab lights that are evenly spaced instead of the three group that you see now. The only time I see this spacing is on DOT trucks. It also helps that mine stands taller then most.
I am more partial to the sky blue. Baby and powder is too light for me. You may want to check out some body shops in your area. They may have a computer program to see what your rig will look like with any color. Les Schwab tires has one for their rims and tires. It is limited on the web but they have a great version at the store.

I tried googleing for a paint calculator but no luck. The best I found was to go to a manufactuer's site and customize your car to see the colors. Unfortunately this does not work for our older rigs. You may actually have to do leg work on this one.
I just saw a Toyota Tacoma that was a nice shade of blue while going over to a frend's house (now you have me looking at blue rigs) so I went to their website to the build function and there was no blue listed as an option. Go figure.
I see you have the deciding order right. I haven't seen a paycheck in over ten years. I make the money and the wife spends it. If I am good, I get an allowance for beer and poker. Welcome to the real world. At least I never have to remember my mistakes. There is no point in both of us bringing up the same thing.
Good luck on your choice. Be sure to post some before and after pics.
I had a 1973 Ford E-300 van that was "baby blue" from the factory. Maybe you can do a little research at the auto paint supplier and reproduce that color.

thanks...but the problem isn't finding the color, it was deciding what shade, thats why I wanted to see one of our particular style, but I think I'll just pick a shade and go for it........will post pics when I'm done, just need to wait for it to be closer to 20 degrees than 10...and I hope that's before the air is full of bugs and dust, I'm painting outside, hopefully the breeze is blowing away from the horses
