If it is true, at the right that everyone is swapping out new diesel engines to meet newer epa requirements, I won't feel comfortable with getting a new diesel for a good long time. I guess I actually have a legitimate reason for just keeping mine and modding it to the point that the only thing that is stock is the ford emblems(the ones that I can't take off that is, I already changed out my fender badges).
However, given the fact that the 6.4 won't meet the impending emission regulations, and that the contract between Navistar and Ford expires in the not too distant future...

Its a fact that that neither International or Ford boast that the 6.4 currently meets 2010 emission standards.
Its also a fact that the 6.4/MaxxForce7 is capable of meeting the 2010 standards.
I am starting to have serious doubts about this info?? Wondering if this info is all B.S. Hopefully these different forum categories were not added based on some unproven incorrect rumor.
Well you have 1 of 2 possibilities:
1. We don't know anything about it... and added the forum on a whim, given which we can't provide any info on the engine... because we know nothing.
2. We know it all, at which point we can't tell you anything, because telling you could result in us loosing the ability to gain that information in the future.
I will leave you up to select which one you think is correct
Wow another diesel why are they changing engines so fast the 6.4 just started this year
Ford and International have not been playing well together lately. The 6.4 liter V8 is not going away, it just may not be found between the fenders of a SuperDuty in the future.
