Head Specs?
Does anyone know where I can find the specs on 302 heads? I will be rebuilding an engine for my truck in the near future and I want to compare the differences between the E7 truck heads that I have and the ones on the engine I will be rebuilding. The engine I have for the rebuild came out of an 84 Lincoln.
If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would really apreciate it.

OK, I found what I was looking for. I was needing the head chamber volume so I could figure compression ratios.
So, here is my next question. How big of a performance hit will I take by changing the C/R from 9.0 to 8.5?
The E7 heads have a chamber vollume of 60.6 and the D8 (Lincoln) heads have a volume of 67.5. This will effectively lower my C/R to 8.5. I found the head info on www.nhra.com. They have an entire section dealling with blueprints. It was pretty cool.
