I'm about to replace my front rotor's & pads on my 03 f250 5.4L w/55K. The rotor's have been turned once by the dealer back with 35K I figure it's time to get rid of them and went with the PowerSlot rotors (not cryo). Now I have a new set of severe duty factory pads that I've been saving, well over the winter my truck box ended up with snow melt inside and the pads were soaked. So the questions is do you think the pads are okay after a good clean up with a wire brush (I think they were over $100 back when I bought them) or go with a new set? I figure they see this exposure while installed so wouldn't be a huge issue...
Depends if they just got wet they should be ok... but if they were in a box that was full of water and they sat under water for a while you better just chuck em in the trash and fork over the $ for some new ones!
