temp for elec fan switch

im adding a electric fan to my 351W with no a/c, at what temp should the fan kick on, and when should it go off?

temp for elec fan switch

Factory switches are usually around 220-230 degrees. I would keep it at least 10 degrees above your thermostat temp to keep it from running all the time. Most vehicles have a 195 thermostat. You could set the fan to a lower temp if your thermostat was lower.

i'm going to use a fan from a early 90's mercury tracer. how big of a fuse should i use?
