Uh...I think this is where the problem started. Honestly, I don't ever see threads degenerate like this on FTE. You really hit a nerve I guess. Oh well eh?

ANYHOW:
What's your budget and skill level? That's what will really determine how close you can get to what you want. If you have the dollars and skill Garbz2 probably has the best answer - check out his gallery.

BTW, start a new thread when you get some pics in your gallery. Goto 'User CP' on the forum menu bar. On that page you have the option to edit your gallery. IT IS FREE!

Might be best to let this thread die... again, cause it's Friday!

90% percent of the therads on here "degenerate like this" at least in my book. Something always sparks something and 100 people go after this one little guy who only wanted to ask for a little help.

I took a nearly one year hiatus from this place because some of the people who seem to live on here can never be wrong, even when they are.
This thread is pretty much S.O.P. for FTE. Night and day compared to Slick 60s. I don't know why that is...we all like the same trucks. Doesn't really have anything to do with the management, just the participants.

Original poster seems to only visit this thread when he wants to tell us how closed-minded and evil we are, so I'm done with it.

So you are defending him? I rarely see this kind of degeneration of a thread. I think very highly of most everyone on here.

I guess you could say I am,but I don't even know the guy so it's a moot point. I mostly said that for myself because the same thing has happend to me. If you say something on here that nobody likes, they're not afraid to tell you, and that's fine. It's just very rare that someone says "you know, thats not what these trucks were deigned to do, but if youwant to do that, let's pool our resources and figure out a starting point for this project because it's nice to see one be saved then go off to the crusher." I'm not saying FTE is bad or the people on it are bad, I don't mean that in anyway shape or form it's just my .02 cents that's all.

My point was I never see "WTF" and the like on FTE. Sure a lot of threads get hijacked by the inside the box ideas, but usually thats what people are looking for. I've been frustrated by it too - on every site I've been on and in general. Some just don't grasp the goal.

I could go on, but it would start sounding like a speech on humanity or something.

I don't think he was defending me, just agreeing that he has seen the same thing I've seen.
I don't read every single thread, and you probably don't either. Every message board has flame-ups, just some have more than others.
There are a few self-proclaimed 'experts' on here that believe they are never wrong. I only care when they mislead others with their 'facts'. If I'm not sure about something, I'll admit it or keep my fingers off the keyboard. But when I'm adamant, you can be sure I know what I'm talking about based on something I've done.
