4.9L Broken Engine Mount

Iv broke the driver side motor mount on my 93 f150. Iv looked at the replacement mounts at oreillys and napa, but napa says they arent the oem replacment and that they are temperary replacements and oreilly says it denotes hydralic mount.

So can i use these or do i need to go to a dealership to get the ford part thats twice the price.

I plan on replaceing both of them at one time becasue the driverside is completly broke loose and ther passinger side has rubber comming out.

Iv never changed a mount befor and have a good idea of how to do it and it doesnt look to difficult.

is there anything special i need know or do?

Any help and advice is greatly appreciated!
Thank you

Thanks tom! I figure it should be easy to replace. I have a jack and im planning to lift the engine and replace them.

But i wanna make sure that i get the right part. i dont wanna get the oreilly part if its weak and gonna keep failing. I know the 4.9l are tough on motor mounts and i figure i should fix it right the first time.

Thanks

Rockin- ya, i had know it was broken for a while, but it wasn't until yesterday when i was towing that it pushed the fan into the shroud and cracked it.

It also moves the shifter around quite a bit haha.

Thanks for all the advice! Im planning on doing it tomorrow and im thinking ill just go with the oreilly part unless anyone says other wise. The oreilly parts looks the same as the part that is currently on there.

Thanks for all the Info,
And any advice is greatly appreciated!
