chassis twisting

I have an 89 F150 4X4, and was driving through some deep cross ditches yesterday and noticed some serious twisting of the truck, like 4-5 inchs is this anything to be concerned about?

Actually, Ford frames crack too. Drop brackets break off, all kinds of odd things happen.

cool, it just looks and sounds so wrong!!! I have had many other trucks, but none twist like the old ford. I guess its a cheap form of long travel suspenion!!

A FTE forum search for "cracked frame" returns 914 threads. It does happen to Fords too.

My 1-ton will twist so bad at times, the doors will lock into the fenders. I just have to remember how much weight I have and watch were I park. No cracks in the frame though.
