The past couple of days I have been looking at F-350 7.3's and I've found a few that I like. 2001 101,986 miles $19.850 fully loaded, I'm new to the diesel trucks but I tried to check anything the board said check. 02 90,685 miles $20,978 fully loaded same here truck seems to be a good truck. 02 37,576 miles $22,000 cloth interior, I didn't notice where they have been pulling anything with this truck and it also seem to be a good truck. They all seem to shift fine. So with all this being said what should do or do I need to keep looking. I will be using the truck to pull a wedge 3 car trailer.

Welcome to FTE. are these three at a FORD dealer? If so ask to have an OASIS report pulled on each one. (or if you get the VINs you can go up to the 6.0 forum and those guys will pull one for you. )
but if it was me i would go with the 02 htat has 37K miles on it.(if you like the color and options.)

 

Just looked at a late 99 CC 4X4 LB Lariat dark green with matching canopy 102k in excellent condition $16k....no mod's to speak of

they seem to be for sale everywhere here in Oregon due to fuel prices...

The Oasis report and Carfax report are they the same? Also when is the first vehicle service due? I did a carfax report on them and all came back with vehicle services but the 02 with 37k.

 

No Oasis and Carfax are not the same.

The Oasis report shows all work done to that truck at any dealership. Warranty work, etc. It is a good idea to get this done before buying any truck, lots of hidden information can be uncovered.

If you go to the 6.0 forum, like stated, there is a sticky at the top abotu Oasis reports and you can post your VIN and email addy and someone tehre will take care of you. I have even had them back in as quick as an hour before.

i was real tempted on an 03 lariat 4x4 i saw last week. 90k on the clock asking 10,500.

the winter texans that don't pull a trailer are dumping them left and right.

 

Did it have a blown motor in it?? For that price something had to be bad it in or the truck was wrecked..

I'd go with the 37k truck, and put your own leather in, that is what I did. Plus when you do your own leather you can do 100%, no cloth or vinyl anywhere. I paid extra to have even the backs of the seats done in leather, but that was back in the better days for me.

 

if the one with 37k is a crew cab do not buy it just tell me where it is
