Exclamation Hazard Lights & Turn Signal problem! ! !

Has anyone ever had the Turn Signals & Hazard Lights stop working? I have gone by the local Parts store for assistance and of course they had none. I have checked and re-checked ALL the fuses. I did have a parts store tell me it was probably the relay for the hazard lights but we could not find it. Has anyone ever had this problem? Would you be so kind as to tell me wich relay it is and where I may locate it? Thanks ! ! ! ! !

Per the haynes manual, you should find the relay next to the steering column, under the dash.It will be a small square relay..IF you can, go see if you can put your hand on it, because for an easy check, you can normally pull it out, and swap it wiht another relay, and try it.

Check fuse 13 as well. It is for "Stop Lamps, Center high mount stop lamp and trailer tow stop lamps"

Sorry, here is the quote from the Haynes
The turn signal and hazard flashers are controlled from a single electyronic flasher unit which is mounted to the right of the steering column under the instrument panel on 2001 and earlier, or in the relay box number 1 behind the glovebox on 2002 models. Good Luck.

Thats where the click sound comes from when I use my 4 ways. I believe its also where all the trailer tow relays are (for running parking, turn signals and charge circuit).
