I need to replace the remote for the DVD in my '04 (ordered option). Is this something that has to be ordered through the Ford parts house or does naybody know of a supplier that can replace the Remote for OE DVD systems?.?

THe local Fordhouse did come back with availability and price ($37). Sourced it through directfordparts online for $19.

i did get it ordered through the online ford partshouse. the PN for fyi is 2L2Z18C908AA . your '04 reads like a nice ride, kudos. I play around with Broncos and have a very clean almost original '69 F250 Ranger Camper Special. Have kept the '04 almost as-is. K&N cold air, sized up the tires abit, put a Pace Edwards electric bed cover on. about all I'm looking to do is exhaust (single outlet) and maybe a program as the K&N & tires have seem to thrown performance off (the od & fuel need to be calibrated). Anyhoot thanks for the feed-back and nice '04.

Chris H. Thanks for the part number. I'll call Chicago Parts and Sound monday just to see what they quote me as the price. I had purchased my OEM dvd player off e-bay since my truck originally didn't have one. Boys are happy, but we didn't get a remote . Thanks for the nice comments about my truck. It's mess right now, so I'm looking forward to some warmer weather to get it cleaned up and will post better pics in my gallery.
