Depends on the IDM you have.

OBS is IDM-100 from factory.
There are 3 IDM's. 100,110,120
Best to look at yours in case it has been changed.

I'm guessing the resisters listed on the web page are what is need to go up to 140v

That's correct. To convert an IDM-100 into an IDM-140 you need a 75ohm metal film 1/2 watt resistor at 1%.

If you can find one locally you should do so. DigiKey makes you order a minimum of 5, which at $1.08 total is no big deal, but they will also charge you a $5.00 handling fee and about $7 for UPS ground. Makes your $.21 resistor pretty expensive.

Actually.....now that I think about it, I have a couple of extra's left over. Shoot me a PM with your mailing address and I'll send you one.

Does this actually make a performance gain? I is this similar to the 10 k mod? I am not familiar with this, so any and all info is appreciated.

Basically, the IDM mod allows the injectors to open faster and stay open longer. Thus more fuel is allowed to enter the combustion chamber... Sound about right guys?

Read the text in the forgotten.net link and look at all the pictures. They are more than adequate to get the correct orientation for the resistor. The hardest part of the whole job is getting the sealant to let go of the lid on the box.
