Well I just checked an ipod in the jack (with the same cable)... same result. I think it might be the head unit, as I could hear noise (albiet quite low) through the right side speakers. This truck has been PERFECT so far. The levels and balances were all set to center too... sigh.
I wouldn't take it in for just that.... would deal with it at the next oil change. I am going to put a call into my bud the local head of service to see what he knows.
I use mine all the time, works...good...I'd say. There is too much compression with the single input. The bass levels is way up and the stereo separation isn't that great. I will definately be going with a Brandmotion or something similar in the future.
