08 Owners..... Aux Input?

08 Owners..... Aux Input?
Any 08 owners use the aux input on their truck's stereo yet? I did today, and I am quite concerned.....
I hooked my mp3 player into the head unit (Lariat Audiophile, BTW)... and the damn music only came out of the left hand side speakers! WTF
Is this a **** poor design by Ford, or is there something wrong with mine?

Well I just checked an ipod in the jack (with the same cable)... same result. 
I think it might be the head unit, as I could hear noise (albiet quite low) through the right side speakers. This truck has been PERFECT so far. The levels and balances were all set to center too... sigh.

There is a single input on the dash... not two. I do not see how you could even run a stereo cable to a single port.

I wouldn't take it in for just that.... would deal with it at the next oil change. I am going to put a call into my bud the local head of service to see what he knows.

I use mine all the time, works...good...I'd say. There is too much compression with the single input. The bass levels is way up and the stereo separation isn't that great. I will definately be going with a Brandmotion or something similar in the future.
