Hello guys. RubberDuck here. Normally I hang out in the OBS Powerstroke forum. But I've got a question for you guys. Where can I find a 92 model ranger dually. I know they are rare, but here's the deal. I currently drive a 95 F350 4x4 crew cab dually. Fuel prices are always a conversation at work, and the guys were ribbing me some. They said, you need to buy a ranger dually and put stacks on it to match your big truck. Well, the wheels are turning. Dually Ranger, 4bt cummins, stacks, painted to match my big truck. I think this is a doable project. So if we can't find the truck, what about the dually fender and stuff for a conversion. Any ideas or help is always appreciated. Thanks guys.
Up around here, there was a guy with a ranger with a 4BT, and a 5 speed manual behind it for sale, for cheap, but it had some vibration issues. I'll see if i can dig it up
id get the dually fenders but put real wide tires on it. dual rear wheels only stress the axle and bearings. if you must have a "dually" have one narrowed from a 1 ton and use the drop-center rims. toyota motor homes had full-floater d.r.w. axles back in the day, but i bet they are hard to find and parts would be a issue.
