"THE TRUCK" thread

Okay guys, here's my start to this thread. So far I've just brought it home, and taken a few things off. But it's changing in looks already. I'll write more on where the truck is going later. But here's a start.

The first pic is of Dennis, the guy who sold it to me. (His son was the big man that drove it.)

In the following pics, I'm just gonna do before and afters.

More....... Took out the front reciever to make the gap correct under the grill

Had to take the flag off, I don't mind it, but those mesh covers bug the crap out of me. These to pics are about 20min after I bought it.

Yeah how did that guy get my exhaust!! Thats the 2nd exhaust I have seen like that. mine was the first! Either way looking good Cody! keep up the good work!!

What kind of tranny cooler do manuals have? I assume it's different than a automatic?

Sticks don't have a cooler. How did the front receiver hitch mount? I don't understand why it made the bumper lower.

ZF-5 don't have a cooler but the ZF-6 does.

interesting. How does it move the fluid? I guess it has a pump. I didn't think ours has a pump but I may stand corrected.

Duck that is very nice truck I like the removals you have done. Now it is time to start with the addons. Thanx for keeping us posted on the progress BTW you forgot to remove the plate on the first pics, LOL.

Yes they have a pump. I didn't know it till about 2 month ago when a buddy of mine bought a wrecked truck and had to change the tranny out.
